Kudos Family Mobile App Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of the Kudos Family mobile application and Kudos Cloud. An adult must accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy before creating an adult account or joining an existing family as an adult.

Adult responsibility

Adults are responsible for their accounts, for supervising child use, and for having authority to create child or student profiles, provide profile information, and upload photos. Child accounts may be created only with a temporary code generated by an authorized adult.

Every adult added to a family receives full management access, including the ability to change family data and permanently delete the family account. Invite only trusted adults.

Acceptable use

Do not use Kudos unlawfully, attempt to access another workspace, interfere with the service, upload content you do not have permission to use, or store highly sensitive information that is not needed for ordinary task and reward features. Invitation codes and passwords must be kept private.

Family content

Adults retain responsibility for content they add. They grant Kudos permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service. Built-in artwork and the Kudos app, branding, and software remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Service availability

Cloud synchronization, notifications, email, and other online features depend on networks and service providers and may occasionally be unavailable. Kudos may change or discontinue features, subject to applicable law. Adults should verify important task, balance, and reward information rather than relying on the app for safety-critical or educational records.

Account termination and deletion

Users may stop using Kudos at any time. Account deletion is available in Settings → Account. A family manager can delete the family workspace and associated data; a linked child can delete their own child account and profile. We may suspend access for misuse, security threats, or legal requirements.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kudos is provided "as is" and without warranties not required by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Kudos is not a professional educational, medical, financial, or behavioral-health service.

Changes

We may update these Terms. We will update the effective date and request renewed acceptance when required for a material change.
